- Custom Screen Savers Demo #4 from Idaho Interactive and Excel Progs.
-
- The fourth screen saver, "Washington D.C.," contains five fabulous images
- from the U.S. capital. See the monuments, buildings, and museums fade,
- scroll, and wipe before your eyes!
-
- Run SETUP and follow the instructions to install the program, then tell
- Windows to use the installed screen saver, and you're all set! Be sure to
- check out the other icons in this group for exciting information about custom
- screen savers!
-
- IF THE SCREEN SAVERS FAIL TO WORK:
-
- 1Q) A strange error appears such as a GPF or something involving USER.EXE.
-
- 1A) More than likely your VBRUN300.DLL file is corrupt. This is a file
- that is required to run many Windows-based programs. If you have several
- copies of this file lying on your hard drive, you need to remove them
- and download a new, working copy from a reputable source. If the
- screen savers continue to show the same error, please report the error
- in its entirety to one of the developers, whose e-mail addresses are
- listed in the ORDERFRM.TXT file.
-
- 2Q) The screen savers come up, but in weird colors.
-
- 2A) You need to be running a video driver that supports at least 256 colors.
- Refer to your Windows/Graphic Card's documentation regarding setting a
- new display driver.
-
- -or-
-
- If your video driver is 256 colors or more, then make sure you are
- running the latest version of the driver. Several screen savers require
- large buffers in order to store complex scrolls, fades, and wipes, which
- may not be supported by your card/driver.
