  1. Custom Screen Savers Demo #4 from Idaho Interactive and Excel Progs.

  3. The fourth screen saver, "Washington D.C.," contains five fabulous images
  4. from the U.S. capital.  See the monuments, buildings, and museums fade,
  5. scroll, and wipe before your eyes!
  6.  
  7. Run SETUP and follow the instructions to install the program, then tell
  8. Windows to use the installed screen saver, and you're all set!  Be sure to
  9. check out the other icons in this group for exciting information about custom
  10. screen savers!

  12. IF THE SCREEN SAVERS FAIL TO WORK:
  13.  
  14. 1Q) A strange error appears such as a GPF or something involving USER.EXE.
  15.  
  16. 1A) More than likely your VBRUN300.DLL file is corrupt.  This is a file
  17.     that is required to run many Windows-based programs.  If you have several
  18.     copies of this file lying on your hard drive, you need to remove them
  19.     and download a new, working copy from a reputable source.  If the
  20.     screen savers continue to show the same error, please report the error
  21.     in its entirety to one of the developers, whose e-mail addresses are
  22.     listed in the ORDERFRM.TXT file.

  24. 2Q) The screen savers come up, but in weird colors.
  25.  
  26. 2A) You need to be running a video driver that supports at least 256 colors.
  27.     Refer to your Windows/Graphic Card's documentation regarding setting a
  28.     new display driver.

  32.     If your video driver is 256 colors or more, then make sure you are
  33.     running the latest version of the driver.  Several screen savers require
  34.     large buffers in order to store complex scrolls, fades, and wipes, which
  35.     may not be supported by your card/driver.
